All Roads Lead To Rome

Our Autumn term topic is titled 'All Roads Lead to Rome' and is based on the Humanities area of learning from the Welsh curriculum. Our journey will begin with a geography focus, on various settlements, giving children the skills to use various maps and atlases. We will then travel back in time, over two thousand years ago, to the start of the Roman Empire. We will work together to try and answer our big question: Who were the Romans and what impact have the Romans had on Great Britain and Wales?
